About the role
As a Principal Engineer, you’ll lead the way in defining the future of our technology. You'll drive key architectural decisions, mentor top talent, and ensure we build high-performing, scalable systems that support our long-term vision.
- Define and guide medium- and long-term technical and architectural strategies, aligned with business goals.
- Lead architectural transformations, modernizing critical systems to boost efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
- Be a go-to technical authority, helping the Engineering Chapter make complex decisions with confidence.
- Lead large-scale projects from idea to execution, ensuring they drive real impact on growth and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership to bridge business vision and technical execution.
- Identify and implement tools, frameworks, and methodologies that raise engineering standards and foster collaboration across teams.
- Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders, nurturing a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Keep us ahead of the curve by evaluating new technologies and participating in industry benchmarking.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience in software engineering roles.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Deep experience working with highly complex domains and scalable systems.
- Strong knowledge of how web applications work, including security, session management, and development best practices.
- Solid background in relational databases and object-oriented programming.
