About this role
Distilla.ai is seeking a versatile Full-Stack Software Engineer who is eager to take frontend/backend/tooling responsibilities in a dynamic startup environment. This role will involve tackling a variety of tasks based on the company's evolving needs, such as internal tooling, data pipeline development, app deployment, and scaling. While prior experience in all these areas is not required, a willingness to learn and contribute is essential.
They value a growth mindset, strong communication skills, and a cultural fit over having all the necessary technical experience upfront.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of projects across the stack
- Design and implement solutions autonomously, identifying areas that require proactive attention.
- Collaborate to streamline LLM content quality evaluation pipelines or contribute to building and maintaining our production user-facing app (initial projects will depend on prior experience).
- Work on diverse technical tasks, such as internal tooling, scaling, and data pipeline enhancements.
Requirements
- CS/Engineering degree or equivalent; if your academic background is incomplete, relevant experience and career progression should clearly demonstrate your expertise.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and work independently on complex projects.
- At least 2-3 years of requested and relevant professional software engineering experience
- Experience building software in fintech and data related products is preferred
- Familiarity in engineering collaboration best practices.
- Fluent English communication skills, ensuring effective teamwork in a remote environment.

- Languages currently used: TypeScript and Python
- Frameworks / platforms: Next.js, Vercel, Supabase, and GCP.
