Talent Wind is partnering with Humand, the AI-powered HR platform built for the 2.7 billion deskless workers left out of traditional workplace software, on their search for an Engineering Manager.

Humand recently closed a $66M Series A, the largest HR Tech round in Latin America's history, co-led by Kaszek and Goodwater Capital with participation from Y Combinator and angel investors behind Mercado Libre, Dropbox, Vercel, and Webflow. In five years, the company has grown from zero to over 2 million users across 2,000+ companies in 51 countries, and is now scaling fast to build the AI operating system for the deskless workforce.

This is a startup with real momentum and no patience for bureaucracy: they ship constantly, solve fast, and are playing to win their category. Humand is looking for an Engineering Manager who can lead a Squad through that pace without losing quality, someone who owns outcomes, not just process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee software delivery, making sure quality standards and deadlines are met without sacrificing one for the other.
• Work directly with stakeholders to align expectations and keep them clearly informed on progress.
• Manage the backlog alongside the Product Manager, breaking epics into stories and setting technical roadmaps and goals.
• Distribute and balance the team's workload, improving the Squad's capacity and throughput.
• Build a strong team culture and actively support the technical growth of each team member.

• Experience managing development teams (Squads) and owning software delivery end to end.
• Ability to lead on both the technical side and the people side, not just one or the other.
• Strong planning, estimation, and process optimization skills.
